A word about our products
Every attempt has been made to accurately represent on this website the colours, shapes and sizes of the products we carry at J’Adorn. Since our merchandise changes frequently (more frequently than we can update the website), please use the images presented only as a guide. Visit us at our store in downtown Kincardine or give us a call to see if the item you are looking for is in stock.
Since we do carry some unique, one-of-a-kind items, please understand that once they are gone, they are gone. While this is great for exclusivity, we understand that it can be a disappointment if you had your heart set on something and we no longer have it. Check with us though, since we can often source something similar or even work with an artist to create another one for you.
Beautiful does not always have to mean expensive. While we all enjoy a splurge once in a while, our goal is to bring you the most beautiful products to enhance your home, your self, and your life, regardless of the price. We take that job seriously, and as a result, you will find treasures in all price ranges available here.
We also believe that beauty extends to simply enjoying the chance to delight in our offerings at J’Adorn – in other words, browsers (in-store or online) are more than welcome.
Ordering, Payment and Taxes
We are excited to offer you online shopping for your convenience. J’Adorn collects the 13% HST for Ontario on all purchases made online or in the store.
Online: This secure Shopify site allows you to confidently and securely make payments using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Shopify Pay or Apple Pay.
In store: payment can be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash, cheque or money order. We cannot accept third-party cheques.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience. If you find a problem with your purchase, please contact us right away so we can make it right. Unsuitable items may be exchanged for store credit within 7 days.
- There are no returns or exchanges on paints or waxes. Please be sure of your colour before you order.*
- There are no returns or exchanges on body products.
- Custom orders cannot be returned. Please ensure your measurements, colours, or other specific details are correct before ordering anything custom-made.
- All exchanges must be made within 7 days of purchase. If the item is a gift for someone who won’t receive it for more than 7 days, let us know and we will indicate the last date for exchanges on your sales receipt.
- Returns must be in their original condition (including all cartons and packaging) and accompanied by your sales receipt.
*You will find this “no returns on paint” policy in effect with every stockist. You wouldn’t want to receive paint that had gone home with someone else, and this policy eliminates any potential for that to happen. Please select your colours wisely, and if you are not sure, or you need help in deciding on a colour, please give us a call. We are here to help! To Reiterate: All paint and wax products are non-returnable and non-refundable. This applies to both online and in-store purchases. Please choose your colours carefully.
We are excited to offer online shopping for your convenience! We will get your order out as quickly as possible, normally shipping within two business days at most. We won’t hold up your order due to an out-of-stock item, unless we expect it within a few days: we will notify you of any delays beyond that. If you need something faster, please give us a call at the store and we will see what we can do.
We are pleased to offer $15 flat-rate shipping and handling for all orders within Ontario. (That rate is per ORDER, not per item.) Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan will be shipped in one or more boxes, depending on the size of your order. For some remote locations, there may be extra costs due to postage and insurance based on the size, weight and value of your order. If this happens, we will contact you to arrange.
For shipments outside of Canada, J’Adorn is not responsible for any customs, taxes or import fees required by the purchaser’s country.
Like all Annie Sloan stockists, we encourage our customers to go to their closest stockist wherever possible. Besides supporting a “buy locally” culture and saving on transportation costs, there simply is no substitute for seeing the paint and the finishes in person – and learning from Annie’s family of fully trained stockists. We are all here to help you. If your closest stockist as a small business doesn’t have an online store, you may want to check with them anyway - in many cases, they may still be willing to ship items to you if you ask them.

Your privacy is important to us, and we will not violate the trust you place in us. Information you provide through this website or in person at our store – such as your name, email and contact information - may be used to contact you or identify you so we can communicate with you, respond to your requests and inquiries, ship items to you, and improve our services.
Before we release media statements, radio or print ads, we always strive to let our preferred clients know first (via email newsletter) of any exclusive offers, upcoming special events or preferred customer promotions. You may opt out of receiving any or all of J’Adorn’s newsletters, marketing or promotional material or other communications by following the “unsubscribe” link that is provided in every email we send.
We hate spam too - you have full control of your information, and your information can be removed from our database at any time upon your request.

We are very proud of the wide range of beautiful boutiques and gift stores in downtown Kincardine. At J’Adorn, our aim is to complement these businesses. We take steps to ensure that our merchandise has little, if any, overlap with that of our neighbours. We are also happy to refer our customers to other local stores that may carry what they are looking for when we don’t have it. We believe in giving customers the most options, the best choices and the most value.
